President Kassi Brou Accredits High Commissioner Rupert Davies to ECOWAS

The President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), His Excellency Jean Claude-Kassi Brou on Thursday 11th November 2021, received letters of accreditation from the High Commissioner of Sierra Leone to Nigeria H.E. Rupert Sydney Dowu Davies as a member of the Permanent Representative Committee to the ECOWAS commission.

President Kassi Brou in his letter of attestation to the High Commissioner emphasized the areas of cooperation to H.E. Rupert Davies after accrediting him to the ECOWAS commission.

He expressed his gratitude to His Excellency’s President Dr. Julius Maada Bio and the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone for the gesture noting that it will further reinforce the cooperation between Sierra Leone and the ECOWAS commission.

“It is my sincere hope that your appointment will encourage the development initiatives and the realization of projects aimed at accelerating the implementation of the regional integration agenda , in the interest of ECOWAS and the Republic of Sierra Leone, President Brou noted.

The ECOWAS president congratulated High Commissioner Davies on his accreditation before expressing high level of optimism and assurance of cooperation and the readiness of the ECOWAS to support in diverse ways that will further contribute to the development of Sierra Leone.

The Sierra Leone High Commissioner H.E. Rupert Davies is feeling fulfilled and ready to work with ECOWAS as a Permanent Representative Committee (PRC) member in order to facilitate the actualization of president Bio’s development aspirations for Sierra Leone.
